Overview

Data Access is an optional part of the app subscription process. Some apps use it to limit data access to only what’s relevant for a specific subscription.

If an app is configured with Data Access, a selection step appears during checkout. That selection defines the subset of data the app can access after you subscribe.

Not all apps use Data Access. If you don’t see a data selection during checkout, the app doesn’t require it.

What Data Access is

Data Access is a Publisher-defined parameter that scopes which data an app can access for a given subscription.

It ties data access directly to the app subscription and applies for as long as the subscription is active.
