An app is a complete, purpose-built analytics experience designed around a specific dataset, workflow, or business question.
Each app brings together curated dashboards, filters, KPIs, and AI-powered tools so you can explore insights without needing to build anything from scratch.

What apps include
Each app includes a set of core components:
Pages with Visualizations
Organized views that contain curated visuals that answer a focused set of questions based on the data.
Dashboard Filters & Controls
Global or page-level filters allow you to adjust dimensions like time, brand, category, etc.
App Settings & Variants
Some apps include configurable settings or support Variants—alternate versions of an app used for personalization, (See: App Variants article)
App Data Model & Semantic Layer
All metrics are defined so insights are consistent across the entire platform.
Data Freshness Indicators
Apps include built-in visibility into data freshness and health so users understand how current the underlying dataset is. (See: Data Freshness article)
Explore Mode
