Stay in the know with notifications

Overview

The Notification Center keeps you informed about everything happening inside your Insight Cloud workspace - including app activity, subscription requests, and more.

A badge on the bell icon appears whenever something needs your attention.

Where to find it

  • Click the bell icon in your sidebar.

  • The Notification Center panel opens with your notifications most recent activity.

  • Use filters to narrow what you see, or open notifications directly.

What you can do in the Notification Center

You can manage notifications just like an inbox:

  • Review new activity in your workspace

  • Open events directly from a notification

  • Mark notifications as read or unread

  • Filter by status: unread, snoozed, archived

  • Snooze notifications you want to look at later

  • Archive notifications you want to clear from your main view

  • Clear all when you’re done reviewing

Types of Notifications

Your Notification Center surfaces different types of updates depending on your role and permissions. These are some examples of supported workflows in Insight Cloud:

Users receive a notification when they gain access to a new app with a shortcut to jump directly into it.

When a dataset export you started finishes, you get a notification. If it succeeded, it contains your download; if it failed, it shows the error details and a Go to table button so you can adjust your filters and try again.

Yes, open the gear icon in your Notifications Center to toggle what you do not want to see.
