App Variants
App Variants allow you to customize your apps even further.

Apps Variants can be found clicking an app, and then selecting from the Variant drop-down list, located under the title card.

Managing App Variants
You can manage existing variants from within a given app by performing the following actions:
Click on the desired app card.
Click the Settings button on the top right of the app’s screen.
The App Settings screen appears, displaying a card for each existing variant.Select the vertical ellipsis on the variant card of the variant you want to edit.

Select from the following options:
Open variant — Navigate to the app view with the selected variant assigned.
Run analysis — Trigger a run of the variant.
Note: When Run analysis is selected, this option becomes Cancel run analysis.Edit variant — Modify the variant’s parameters and schedule.
Set as preferred — Set the variant as the default view when you open the app.
Delete variant — Remove the variant from the app.
Set as my organization’s default — Set the variant as the defaut view for your entire organization when you open the app.
Note: This option is only available for apps that have multiple variants.
Scheduling App Variants
When you create or edit a variant, you can select its Run Cadence. This determines whether the variant runs an analysis Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Never.
Note: If a variant’s Run Cadence is Never, it is only run manually.
Creating New Variants
If no preexisting variant is assigned the parameters you want apply to the app, you can create a new one by performing the following actions:

Click the Settings button on the top right of the app’s screen.
The App Settings screen appears, displaying a card for each existing variant.Click Create a new variant.
The New Variant card appears.Enter a Variant Name, and populate the remaining parameter fields as desired.
Note: the Variant Name should be descriptive to what makes the variant unique.
Note: The parameters available for a given variant are determined by the app publisher.Click Create.
Note: New variants are automatically triggered to run upon creation. This process incurs computation costs and may process a large amount of data, which can result in significant runtimes.
