Data
Browse and inspect the datasets that power your apps.

Overview
The Data section in the sidebar is where you browse and inspect the datasets that power your apps in Insight Cloud.
Every app produces its analysis from one or more underlying datasets. The Data section gives you a single place to find those datasets, see what's inside them, and pull the rows you need for your own work.
What lives in the Data section
Output Data
Output Data is the top-level node in the Data section. It contains a tree of every dataset your workspace has access to, organized by app and variant.
Each app you have access to contributes its datasets here. Selecting an app expands its variants. Selecting a variant exposes the individual datasets that variant produces.
This is the entry point for everything in the Data section.
Opening a dataset
Selecting a dataset opens it in a viewer with three tabs:
Data Viewer — the rows of the dataset. Filter by any column to narrow the view, then export the result to use in your own tools.
Columns — the schema. Field names, types, and what each column represents.
Parameters — the inputs that produced this dataset for the selected variant. Useful for understanding what shaped the data you're looking at.
Each dataset also surfaces metadata at the top: row count, the engine that produced it, and when it was last updated. For more on interpreting these timestamps, see Data Freshness.
Who can access Data
What you see in the Data section depends on:
Your role and permissions in the workspace
The apps your organization subscribes to, you only see datasets from apps you have access to
Data Access scoping applied at the subscription level by Publishers, where applicable
If a dataset is missing or a section looks empty, check your role assignments and which apps you have access to.
