Overview: Seek's User Management is where Admins can execute multiple workflows based on Seek's Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC). Only Admins can assign a user to a role or change their roles.
Roles: Seek's RBAC has multiple roles based on function needs:
- Admin: Full access on the platform to perform administrative workflows
- See all Insights in My Insights
- Update User functions
- Engineer: Insight access for deploying and managing the technical aspects of Insights updating
- Configure and deploy Insights
- Keep Snowflake details updated
- Keep Data Table details updated
- Consumer: Insight access to solve business challenges
How to assign a user to a role:
- Navigate to Admin Panel via the the menu in the top left of Insight Cloud
- Navigate to User Management
- Find the particular user you are looking for via:
- Search
- Or multiple page listings
- Search
- Click on the pencil icon in their row
- A new right-hand pain will open and locate 'Role' dropdown. From here you can change the role of the user
- Click Save
